The former president's Granddaughter Receives Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer getting ready for significant tournament

The rising star boasts substantial social media audience

Kai Trump can count on multiple high-profile supporters as she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a special exemption to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses multiple golf courses and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially suggested to go out there and have fun," she continued.

"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, so he's quite busy."

Being non-professional, the golfer has played in just three tournaments recently and has position 461 in AJGA listings.

Yet she can get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating her mother.

"He is the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.

"And he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to play, relax, adapting to the flow."

Kai will face multiple top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence exposes golf to wider groups, specifically among younger fans.

The young star has millions of followers and just introduced a personal fashion and living company.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
